Through The Working Chute is a column where I discuss religion, politics, and education in our culture as I view them. They are written from the perspective of a Christian with a major emphasis on the training of our children.

For more than 20 years I have closely watched sheep pass through my working chute and I have written about such experiences trying to make biblical inferences. When I specifically mention sheep, these writings are call Sheep Tracks, and can be found in another section of this web site.

All my observations in life do not come directly from watching four-legged sheep. As I watch the behaviors of people I am inclined to write about some of these actions. In other words, as people and events pass by, I may see a biblical connection and then write this column called Through The working Chute.

My opinions may be wrong, but the Bible is not. My prayer is that people will be motivated to read and study God's Word and find His direction in this fallen world, and become more devoted disciples of Jesus Christ.
