- Don't brush
your teeth with tap water
- Possibly
get malaria pills (ask your doctor)
- Pack
an army duffel bag as one of your two bags. Put a plastic 5 gallon bucket in the
bottom and fill it. Leave the bucket in Honduras for
it can be a valuable item since they are used in so many ways.
- Take
some spending money if you desire. There will be time for some shopping before
the group returns. Exchange U.S. currency at the airport before the group leaves
that area to the destination. Also be prepared to pay an exit tax as you leave
the airport to return. It could change, but will likely be about $25. This should
be the only money you will have to spend in Honduras.
- Travel
as a group through airports
- Do not
attempt to carry sharp objects through airport security. Avoid carrying metal
on your person as it delays security checks.
